Reappointments for the following Boards/Committees for new four-year terms expiring December 31, 2026: Animal Control Board, Joan Ahrens; Cemetery Preservation Committee, Sanford Chandler; Construction Board of Appeals, David Semler; Fire Code Appeals Board, Roy Taylor; Impact Fees Appeals Board, Jeff Wilbur; Planning Commission, Tom Hill; Recreation & Parks Advisory Board, Amy Turcotte; Wrecker Service Advisory Board, Dennis Irwin. Appointment of Ken Hardy to the Zoning Board of Appeals for a new four-year term expiring December 31, 2026.
1. Consider reappointments to the Planning Commission for Bob Whitaker and Tom Ware for new four-year terms expiring December 31, 2026.

PUBLIC HEARING
Hold a public hearing regarding the modification of zoning conditions pertaining to Case # 00-11-029 - S. Jeffrey Rusbridge for John Lineberger.
Hold a public hearing to consider a request regarding the modification of zoning conditions pertaining to Case # 97-03-007 - Lorraine Canada for AXIS Infrastructure, LLC.
Hold a public hearing to consider a request by Danny and Dianne Lawson to allow the creation of a legacy lot.
PUBLIC COMMENT
PLANNING AND ZONING
Consider the annexation case from the City of Holly Springs for approximately 7.271 acres from GC to TND.
Consider de-annexation case from city of Ball Ground for a three (3) acre parcel located at 3601 Cherry Grove Road. Property is currently zoned AG and should remain AG in the County. No development is proposed.
Consider adopting amendments to Article 7 of the Cherokee County Zoning Ordinance regarding storage facilities and consider ending the current 90 day moratorium per Resolution 2022-R-084.
Call for a Public Hearing to be held on January 10th, 2023 to consider extending a current moratorium for storage facilities for 40 days.
Consider approval of Amendment Three to the CityView Agreement to add to the Code Enforcement Module for a total cost of $48,576.00.
Consider approving state grant award in the amount of $49,455.00 on behalf of the Sheriff's Office for law enforcement surveillance work for the Accountability Courts and consider approving a Budget Amendment in the same amount.
Consider approving Amendment Two with Idemia Identity & Security USA, LLC in the amount of $64,476.00 for the maintenance of fingerprint systems and printers at the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office.
Consider approval of Fortinet equipment upgrades for Fire Stations, the Hickory Flat Gym, and the Sheriff's Office Garage for the total cost of $30,790.52 to be paid with ARPA funds.
Ratify the voluntary reallocation of ERA 2 funds to keep rent/utilities assistance dollars in the State of Georgia.
Consider approving Amendment Seven to the Agreement with Life Line Billing Systems (Life Quest) for EMS billing and collection services to extend the current agreement for one additional year.
Approval of Amendment to Agreement with Enjoy Cherokee Magazine for Publication of Play Cherokee - Recreation & Parks biannual program guide.
Consider approval to begin an open-ended lease with the Bancorp Bank for a 2023 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 4WD with payments of $971.35 per month for sixty months for the Coronner's Office.
Consider Amendment One to the Construction Agreement for the Wiley Bridge Road at Cox Road Roundabout Project, in the amount of $64,250.00 with Colditz Trucking, Inc.
Consider approval of Alcohol License Residency Waiver Requests for Mapco Express, Inc., Cancun Mexican Grill, Inc., and CVS Pharmacy #2470.
Consider resolution to authorize the Tax Commissioner's office to accept personal, company, certified, treasurers, and cashier's checks; and, to authorize the acceptance of bank, postal, and express money orders as well as credit/debit cards in payment for Tax and Tag fees.
Consider approving the following purchases to outfit recently purchased Fire Department vehicles: ProLogic in the amount of $76,275.22 for lighting packages on seven (7) Dodge Rams; Utility Associates in the amount of $55,680.00 for communications (internet) hardware bundles on new Fire & EMS vehicles and engines, and FireLine in the amount of $63,438.00 to install camper tops and slide systems in up to (6) six Dodge Rams - total cost is $195,393.22.
Consider approving agreement with Cigna to provide medical network services for the County employee POS medical plan.
Consider the purchase of eight (8) Portable Bleachers for LB "Buzz" Ahrens Recreation Center Gymnasium from low bidder - Southeastern Surfaces & Equipment in the amount of $38,050.00.
Consider the purchase of a modular home from Clayton Homes in the amount of $97,745.00 for Fire & Emergency Services and consider approving the surplus of the existing trailer units at Station 29 on Cumming Highway.
Consider Amendment to Agreement with Correct Care in the amount of $1,066,603.00 for inmate medical care at the 600 inmate level, for a total price of $4,503,002.00.
Consider agreement with Georgia Probation Management for Probation Supervision and Rehabilitation Services.
Consider Amendment Five to the Construction Agreement for the SR 140 at East Cherokee Drive
Intersection Improvement Project, in the amount of $129,112.85 with Summit Construction &
Development, LLC.
Consider award of a standard construction agreement for the construction of the Union Hill Road at Lower Union Hill Road Roundabout Project to Ohmshiv Construction, LLC, the low bidder, in the total amount of $1,936,636.36.
Consider approval of network equipment purchase for Sheriff's Office K-9 & Traffic Unit Headquarters and Coroner's Facility for the total cost of $82,199.10, to be paid from SPLOST funds.
Consider approval of a five-year agreement with Axon Enterprises for a taser system for the Sheriff's Office in the amount of $527,647.55. An additional agreement the Sheriff's Office needs to enter with Axon Enterprises will secure the taser cartridge pricing.
Consider adoption of the updated pay plan based on the Compensation Study by Evergreen Solutions, and corresponding salary adjustments.
